Made this for the Cetacean V-Day Project for ~SungSurin who asked for Taku and Takara. Hoping to see more projects and secret art trades like such in the near future.
 Digital Paintings. Something that I do once in a blue moon, almost always for art trades and such. I've always been rather uncomfortable and less satisfied with painting in general, though I like the effects and results one can get with it. But, I am satisfied and actually happy with this, mostly because I felt I've made quite an improvement from my past drawings. Did this in about 7 hours on and off. USed the GIMP, 11 layers. Also referred to several painting tutorials such as *kaykaykit's water background tutorial and a few other digital painting tutorials. Comments and faves appreciated, critiques especially welcome! I'm eager to see in what ways I can still improve on and what I've gotten down pat. Hope you like it, ~SungSurin |
