Gee, how many tomorrows did I take to update this? Looks like I'm still going no where with resolution number 10. (Procrastinate less) >.>

How'd you like my new CSS? :aww: Big thanks to =S-Que for some pointers and help with it.

Grades
I'm one helluva pessimist. I was quite confident that I'm going to fail my first exam for this year. I didn't. In fact, I might even have a shot at getting the top ten in class. Woo. 8As, 1B (Additional Maths), 1C (Modern Maths), 1D (Bahasa Malaysia, went completely off topic with one of my essays :/.). Hope I can keep this up for my next one... Barely a month away.

Shoes
Taekwondo... Its everything but a cake walk. Some of the stretching exercises look like they're meant just for double jointed people. Seriously, I can't split my legs, touch my knee with my head, nor can I twist myself into awkward positions that might snap my spine. How my 45 year old sensei can, I don't know. Apart from that, I now know one of the reasons why its not a good idea to wear your shoes during martial arts practice. While we were practicing our kicks, about 5 shoes flew clean off some of the student's. 2 of them hit someone. Twas a hilarious sight. :lmao:

40FT robots
I just had the strangest dream last night. I was asked to buy some groceries. Things started normally enough, until i morphed into an orca for some reason and started inchworming my way down a road. I then thought 'Screw this' after making barely 20 metres in 5 minutes and morphed back to myself and jumped into a nearby storm drain. I swam to another town (as an orca again) through the polluted drain which got as shallow as several inches at some points. (Which I could swam through rather gracefully, strangely)

The strangeness doesn't end there, I morphed back into myself again, in blue boxers and a white T-shirt... completely dry. I suddenly approached two thugs and stole some small packets of drugs and ran into some shoplots, with them on my tail. After wandering around said shoplots for a while, thinking I have lost them... They found and grabbed me, taunting and threatening me. I managed to evade one of them after some struggling and after running for a while to the storm drain again, I got caught just off the edge the drain. After some struggles, I managed to pull myself and the thug into the drain and morphed back into an orca again. This surprised the thug immensely. I then took the opportunity to blow him sky high with my blowhole.

Here's the icing on the strange cake, after swimming my way around for a while, a 40FT robot that looked a wee bit like Optimus Prime appeared and started shooting lasers at me with a few cannons that jutted out of his chest. After dodging a few of the shots, while I try to blow him away with my blowhole... I woke up.

Throughout the dream, I was a twelve year old kid as a human, and it was in third-person.

This sums up very well what I looked like after I woke up: :|

I think I need to stop drawing those whales for a while. >.>

Anyways, what strange dreams or interesting tidbits of life do you have to share, my dear watchers? :)

Total avatar requests left: 2
Total misc works still undone: A lot.
Total time for them: See below.
Mood for actually working on them: Comes and goes more often than the wind.

As you can see, I'm kinda addicted to pixel art at the moment. Expect to see some more art from that medium in the near future. :aww:

Personally I think being pessimistic about grades can be a good thing, at least one would worry a bit more about the work than someone who believes they'll always pass...

That's exactly what I expected Taekwondo to be like- painful stretching >.<
Thankfully, I used to dance so I'mma like an elastic band :#1:
But still; no pain, no game ;)

What a strange dream >.>

Great plans.

I could certainly help you with number 4
Rofl, nice dream. XD I've had some crazy ones myself, but I always forget them when I try to bring them up. ><
Looks like we're kinda on the same level with the whole grades issue. Except I don't think I could make it to the Top 10. xD So, congrats to you, and good luck!

The letter 'S' in your current CSS design looks well, unlike in the scraps ( [link] )- I think the 'S' in your scraps fell prey to anti-aliasing.

You've won the robotics competition?

On the subject of dreams: a few months ago, while I was over-sleeping (it was around 1 pm), my family's maid tried to wake me up, and I mumbled something in the lines of "The person in the robot needs food". I didn't realize I actually said that when I was sleeping, until a week later when she mentioned I said that.

Now I have that "conspirasy feeling", that someone is talking to me and recording whatever lines I say when I am sound asleep. :fear: :XD:
I used a bolder variant of the pixel font, and turned off anti-aliasing... That was probably why it looked strange before. Using the original now.

Nah, its still in future tense. :P

 Do you still remember what your dream was about? My family has mentioned quite a few times on my sleeptalking... It was embarrassing. >.>

What do you recommend? :)

Its a double edged sword, my worrying sometimes carries on to my next paper, which makes me feel bad, and that more often than not gives me a mental block. :(

I didn't expect this amount of stretching when I registered, I was thinking it was more strength exercises and improving one's coordination and moves. I thought wrong.

Indeed, even stranger, I remember it quite vividly. :o That rarely happens with any other dream I have.

So do I, this is one of the very few dreams I can remember quite vividly. :o

What positions do you usually hover around in class?

Hm... usually the work-butt-off-and-still-not-do-as-good-as-hoped position. :P I'm taking regular English class (I belong in advanced :bucktooth:, but I missed the test date to get in there :shakefist:), and so I get 98-100% on all my tests, yet for some reason my grade is now a B. I think it's because the teacher critiques my essays much more than she does for the other students, because she obviously treats me differently than everyone else. Which just sucks. The B wouldn't bother me in an advanced class (it'd make me happy, in fact), but in a regular class, that's just pathetic for someone with my GPA. >< And in my advanced classes, I'm in the low-C, high-D range. ;-; As a result, I have to do a whole lot more extracurricular stuff to get colleges to look past the low grades and low test scores. So next year I'll be volunteering a lot more and taking a possibly freakishly-difficult college class; I dread that terribly. It's like I'm asking for more stress in my life. x_x;
Blah. Don't really like to talk about my grades... XD
